Chef Christian Ortiz, 29, A native New Yorker actually began his culinary career in Orlando Florida while attending the Orlando Culinary Academy’s Le Cordon Bleu program. He almost instantly put his newly acquired skill sets and classroom knowledge to real world applications by founding The Quiet Chef culinary consultants in Winter Park Florida. Chef Ortiz moved back to NYC to further expand his understanding for cooking by attending the Culinary Institute of America. The next 6 years were spent at Primehouse NY, Landmarc, Le Bernardin where he would gain tenure and a very deep understanding for ingredients, technique and service.
